Career Highlights:
As a software engineer, I have developed applications for operating systems, navigation, communication, ordinance, e-commerce and human resources. My background includes both mainframe and client/server architectures. I have moved into areas of network development and embedded hardware. I love a good puzzle, and my career has offered me the opportunity to solve some very good puzzles.

A sense of curiosity and a need to learn more
What qualities make someone particularly successful in the profession in which you teach?
Ethical character, attention to detail, a questioning mind and an ability to look at small pieces of the whole

What is the one book you think everyone should read?
Unfortunately, I don't really read books. I am a news and tech junkie.

I enjoy the winter. Cold weather has some beautiful benefits.
