Library

The mission of the Connelly Library is to promote the pursuit of knowledge by means of all appropriate media. The library faculty, assisted by library staff, has the primary responsibility for defining, developing and organizing the library’s collections, services and facilities necessary to this pursuit. Library faculty share with the other members of the University community the responsibility for the education of students as independent learners and critical thinkers.

The Connelly library also has a virtual library for our online students with a range of resources to support students’ class work and research.

For research assistance and using Library resources, the Information Desk is the Connelly Library’s primary service point for assistance. Reference librarians are on hand to help you locate and use library materials and online resources. For more information on reference librarian hours and how to contact us, visit: library.lasalle.edu/help/ask-a-librarian.

Our students also use the latest up-to-date career management tool, Handshake. This tool assists students in developing the job search strategy and action plans, preparing and posting their resumes, and searching for specific positions or employment opportunities at specific companies.
