Which online degree program(s) do you teach?
What do you want students to take away from your classes? What do you want them to learn?
NUR 318 is designed for the RN student to build upon and expand pathophysiological and pharmacological knowledge. The course integrates pathophysiology, clinical manifestations of illness, diagnostic studies and typical pharmacotherapeutics. The underlying principles of pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, drug actions and interactions are also included.
What qualities make someone particularly successful in the profession in which you teach?
The qualities that make someone successful in nursing are to be caring, compassionate, empathetic, honest, patient, nonjudgmental, and accountable to yourself.
Why did you start teaching?
I have a strong clinical background working with both students and nurses in hospital and classroom settings and want to share my knowledge and experiences through teaching.
